Udai Pinnali is the CEO of Aditya Birla New Age Hospitality (ABNAH), the hospitality arm of the Aditya Birla Group (ABG). The company has iconic restaurant brands—Hakkasan, Yauatcha, Nara Thai, CinCin, Ode, and has recently launched Waarsa, a modern Awadhi restaurant, at NCPA, Mumbai. ABNAH also runs the private members’ only club, Jolie’s – an exclusive 30,000 sft. opulent space at Worli, Mumbai. Udai has consistently embraced an entrepreneurial spirit and is passionate about building teams of empathetic, high achievers. With a focus on growth, he aims to take ABNAH brands into untapped markets, connecting with more customers and enriching their lives. Udai joined the Aditya Birla Group in 2008 as part of their leadership program and has worked across varied roles and categories since then. He has been awarded the prestigious Chairman’s Individual Award twice at the Aditya Birla Group for his exceptional contribution over the years. Udai holds a Degree in Engineering and is an MBA from IIM Bangalore. A foodie himself, when not at the restaurants or jamming on growth plans with his team, he spends time reading or travelling with his family.
