Shri Goutam Deb is an Indian politician and the present Minister for North Bengal Development in the Government of West Bengal. He is also an MLA, elected from the Dabgram-Phulbari constituency in the West Bengal state assembly election; 2011.He has done his graduation from University of North Bengal and LLB from Calcutta University.
He has practised as an advocate in Siliguri Sub-Divisional Court, Darjeeling District Court and Additional District Court, Siliguri before being elected as MLA of Dabgram-Fulbari Assembly Constituency and Minister-in-Charge, North Bengal Development Department in 2011 and Minister-in-Charge, Tourism Department in 2016.
