Having been a part of the industry for over five decades, he has been acknowledged as a
Celebrity Chef, and is an aficionado in the art of cooking, who has made tremendous
contribution in promoting Indian Cuisine globally.
During his expansive career, he has been bestowed with several awards and recognitions for
excellence in culinary art and for his contribution to the industry. Some of the
recognitions include National Tourism Award for Best Chef of India by Ministry of Tourism,
Golden Hat Award, Gold Prize in Japan and Delhi for name a few.
While his cookery shows have been popular on television, he has also authored several cook
books with intense research. As the President of Indian Culinary Forum (Chefs Association of
India) for over two decades, he has been instrumental in bringing the community of chefs to
a recognizable level.
