Samir, a Bachelor from PCIT and Monash University, is as passionate about Mobile Technologies as he is passionate about being a foodie. A self declared movie and entertainment buff, Samir is passionate about Apple like user experience as well. He has experience in SAS based product solutions, Start-Ups in Hospitality, Retail and E-Commerce. After I-Connect, a mobile application company, sold in 2007, Samir founded Mobikon in late 2008, a market leader in cloud based customer engagement platform, focused on Hospitality and Retail industry. Mobikon today powers hundreds of Restaurants, Hotels and Retail outlets in India, Singapore, UK, South Africa and South East Asia. From a single office in 2008-09, Mobikon today has grown to a 50+ people team with offices across Singapore and India with over 1.8 million customers engaged on the platform. Prior to starting Mobikon, Samir has been involved with multiple businesses in India and abroad with a vast experience in Direct Marketing, OEM Sales and Mobile Technologies.
