Rahul is a Fellow Member of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and is an economics graduate with honours from Hindu College, Delhi University. He has also completed a Certificate course in Valuation by ICAI, New Delhi and the Private Equity Programme from Indian School of Business, Hyderabad.

Mr. Rai has fifteen years of experience in the financial services sector, including seven years in private equity investing in the food and agri sector. He is presently a Partner and Senior Vice-President, Investments at Rabo Equity Advisors Private Limited. Rabo Equity Advisors advises two funds focussed on the Food and Agribusiness space in India, and is part of the Rabobank Group, Netherlands. Rahul’s responsibilities include sourcing investment opportunities and mentoring companies to meet their full potential. Prior to Rabo Equity Advisors he has worked with Rabo India Finance in its Renewable Energy & Carbon Credits vertical and at ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Co. Ltd. in its strategic risk team.
