Sanjiv Malhan is an Australian architect, interior designer, urbanist and columnist with a creative outlook that resonates in his work. With a career spanning a period of 18 years, he has designed projects that range from sensitively curated spaces for the aged and the specially-abled, architecture and design of large format retail spaces to boutique hotels, and art spaces to master planning in residential properties and hospitality projects like standalone restaurants. One of his most reputed projects has been the Solarus Townsville in Australia (while working with PCA Architects), listed as one of the tallest buildings in Townsville.
Three years hence, he went on to establish the Office of International Architecture (OFIA). With offices in New Delhi and Goa, OFIA is renowned as a design centric practice famous for its innovative use of material and attention to detail.
Sanjiv has served as a jury member for The Economic Times ACETECH Grand Stand Awards for two running years. A leading trade fair in Asia for architecture, building materials, innovation and design, the forum is a third-of-its-kind in the world.
Sanjiv was selected as one of the three 'Best Building Architects' in New Delhi, based on a 50-point inspection that checked reputation, history, complaints, reviews, satisfaction, trust and cost to the general excellence.
