Chef Sumant Vikas is an alumni of the renowned Dadar Catering College (IHMCTAN) in Mumbai. He graduated from IHMCTAN Mumbai in the year 1997. Since then, Chef Sumant has gained varied experiences of working in 5-Star hotels for two decades. He has served in various capacities in the kitchen at the Taj, the Orchid, Renaissance Mumbai Hotel and Convention Centre, Hyatt Regency Mumbai, Courtyard by Marriott and Unilever Food Solutions. His favorite area in the kitchen is the Western section, highlighting Mediterranean cuisine. He likes to innovate and create simple dishes with simple techniques, fresh ingredients and natural flavours. His role in the organization is to effectively communicate the technical and qualitative benefits of Cremica retail and Professional foods through intensive training, demonstrations, public relations and involvement in R&D and product development. He strives to develop more local dishes and products to meet customer needs. Sumant enjoys creating and experimenting with new recipes. He likes traveling looking for new culinary experiences and ideas. He likes cooking, exploring new cuisines, new dishes, new styles of presentations, entertaining and listening to music. He as avid biker and loves to explore new roads with his bike.
