Chef Robin comes to verdant Bengaluru from vibrant Mumbai. In his previous capacity as Senior Eexcutive Sous Chef at Trident, BandraKurla he played a critical role in the culinary success of the hotel, especially with restaurants like their all day dining O22, Maya, fine dining modern Indian restaurant and the well-loved Italian restaurant Botticino.
Under his leadership, the restaurants at Trident, BandraKurla have won numerous awards in the city by leading publications.
Chef Robin’s first culinary lessons were at home in Delhi. With both his parents working, Robin would be left to his own devices post school hours. The consequent improvisation he indulged in while drumming up a snack for himself each day, made him realize, early on, his passion for cooking.
As he takes on the kitchen reigns of The Oberoi, Bengaluru, he is excited to start a new chapter in his professional life in our city along with his wife and daughter. Bengaluru’s fine weather, warm people and a dynamic gastronomic landscape has his adrenalin racing.
