Bhavik joined Uber in August 2013 as the Regional General Manager, South & West India and Sri Lanka. He then took over as the Head of Uber Eats, India with the launch of the on-demand food delivery app in May 2017.

Prior to Uber, Bhavik was the CEO and Founder of his venture, EmployeeSocial, an organization that created highly engaging and motivating employee R&R (Rest & Recreation) programs. Bhavik has also held several managerial positions at Ernst & Young and Illinois Business Consulting.

Bhavik holds an MBA degree from University of Illinois, USA and a Diploma in Financial Management from NarseeMonjee Institute of Management Studies, Mumbai.
