"The power of imagination makes us infinite" is something Nikita Poojari first heard when she was 8 years old and it has stuck with her ever since. The lively and enthusiastic spirit with big dreams, has grown up watching her father, noted restaurateur Mr N.T. Poojari, set up his empire. With a role model like that, it's no wonder that the young entrepreneur is all set to take the hospitality world by storm with her involvement in her family’s home ventures - Shiv Sagar, which is a Udipi and Fish N Bait, a fine dine restaurant set in the heart of BKC.
Nikita finished her schooling from Lilavatibai Podar High School and went on to pursue Instrumentation Engineering from Vivekanand Education Society's Institute of Technology. Although she has an engineering background, Nikita chose to immerse herself completely into setting up Fish N Bait as well as the administration and management of Shiv Sagar as she believes that she can bring in a youthful energy to both the restaurants. As a teenager, one of the first few tasks that she was given was to assist her father in the payroll of his restaurant staff at Shiv Sagar. She believes though the task was small, it built a strong work ethic, the impact of which has stayed till date.
When she's not busy with Fish N Bait and Shiv Sagar, Nikita likes to spend her time pursuing her hobbies. One of the things she is deeply passionate about is singing. Music has been her main interest since she was a young girl and the classically trained Nikita cites Adele, Beyonce and Rihanna as her idols. Nikita also likes to indulge in adventure sports. She makes it a point to take out time every few months and experience new activities. She recently went paragliding and bungee jumping is next on her bucket list.
