Mr P L Mehta is the Vice Chairman of Ambuja Neotia Hospitality, Whole-time Director of UNO India and Neotia Healthcare Initiative Limited. Mr P L Mehta is a multi-talented professional with more than 25 years of rich experience leading enterprises in segments of hospitality, healthcare and manufacturing apart from having a keen interest in academics.

He is a Fellow Member of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, a Fellow Member of Institute of Company Secretaries of India and a Bachelor in Legislative Laws. Having done his Post Graduate in Commerce, he moved to USA where Kansas State University conferred him Masters in Business Administration in 1986.

Mr. Mehta is associated with the Ambuja Neotia Group since 1994 and his first assignment was heading Corporate Affairs & Finance in Ambuja Cements. Subsequently in 2002, he went on to lead the Group's Healthcare Operation to amplify its brand and bouquet of services from Hospital to Chain of Diagnostic Centres and Infertility Treatment Centres along with a Nursing Academy.

As Vice Chairman of the Group’s Hospitality ventures, Mr PL Mehta has through meticulous work and structured planning process helped streamline the Hospitality vertical, which has a bouquet of Resort, Hotels, Clubs, Casual Dining outlets, QSR chain and Delis which include multiple brands like Ganga Kutir, Swissotel, AltAir, The Orient, Sonar Tori, Tea Junction and counting, the latest addition to which is UNO India. He is actively involved with respective business heads of the various sub verticals to define business growth paths, enhance strategic brand value and optimise existing operations drawing on his vast multi-disciplinary knowledge in finance, logistics, administration, marketing and legal affairs.
