Rajeev Ranjan

A seasoned business leader with over 20 years of diversified experience in the FMCG, F&B and QSR Retail industries, Mr. Ranjan is currently at the helm of McDonald’s India - North and East as the Managing Director. He joined McDonald’s India – North and East in 2020 as Senior Director and was named the Chief Operating Officer in 2021 and was elevated as the Managing Director in 2022. In his current role, he is responsible for driving profitable growth for the organization and making it future-ready for industry-leading, rapid and sustainable growth, while creating value for consumers and business.
Prior to joining McDonald’s India – North and East, Mr. Ranjan has led complex business portfolios, while leading (and building) high performance leadership teams in India, China and South East Asia geographies. He has worked as an independent consultant to leading F&B and FMCG brands, counseling them in end-to-end supply chain and route-to-market transformation engagements.

During his stint in companies like ITC, Aditya Birla Group, Marico, Coca-Cola India Inc., Hindustan Coca – Cola Beverages, and YHS Singapore, he has led cross-functional teams in India, Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, China, Nepal, and Cambodia.
Mr. Ranjan is a graduate from Birla institute of Technology and a postgraduate from Indian Institute of Technology Mumbai. He is also Six Sigma certified. He is a graduate from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay and obtained certification in Business Management from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad. He has also earned Supply Chain Leadership Excellence certification Georgia institute of Technology, Scheller College of Business, Atlanta, USA. In his leisure time, he likes to go on challenging cycling expeditions and learn about improving communities by connecting with leaders in non-profit organizations.
