Rahul Singh comes with a diversified experience of more than two decades in the hospitality industry and is currently the Chief Operating Officer at PVR INOX Limited. With the Cinemax Chain acquisition by PVR in 2012, Rahul with his expertise in the hotel and restaurant industry, was entrusted with the task of integrating the corporate functions of F&B and has played a key role in reimaging the cinema F&B and identifying avenues for growth since then. With the appointment of the leadership team in F&B Operations and Chefs, Rahul contributed to positioning PVR beyond the media and entertainment space to a leader in the hospitality domain at par with global players.

PVR due to continuous innovation in its menu was able to maintain its leadership with the highest F&B spend in the Indian film exhibition industry achieving a revenue of INR 960 Crores, the highest in the industry. Revenue from the sale of F&B products in the pre-pandemic year of FY 19-20 achieved a Y-O-Y growth of 12% and 5 Year CAGR of 21%. Rahul joined PVR in 2008 and his role encompasses overseeing the organization’s cinema operations focussed at improving quality of products and processes. His prime responsibilities include business strategy, policy and SOP formulation, managing strategic alliances with partners, loyalty, alternate sales strategy and renovation planning. Rahul oversees and champions the entire Food & Beverages function from the strategic and operational perspective. His past experience in the hospitality industry includes working with the Taj Group of Hotels and ITC Welcome group in the F&B domain. Rahul Singh holds a Hotel Management degree from IHMCTAN, Kolkata and a Post Graduate Diploma in Management from IMT, Ghaziabad.
