Prateek is a Silver Medallist Engineer (Electronics & Telecomm.) and Management Graduate from IIM Calcutta in Strategy and Finance. He joined Procter and Gamble Pte. Singapore in 2004 and was Brand Manager for Herbal Essence and Head & Shoulders Shampoo in Singapore and looking after Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia. He worked as an intern for 6 months in BrewWerkz, Singapore a micro-brewery to learn the art of managing a restaurant and brewing and came back to India to start his first venture of microbrewery. After 10-12 months of struggle, he was able to obtain the India’s First Microbrewery license in the state of Maharashtra and became PIONEER OF MICROBREWERY INDUSTRY IN INDIA He has also worked closely with Govt of Maharashtra to co-create the excise policy and Co-Established “Doolally”, India’s first microbrewery, in Pune. He also assisted Government in framing policy for distributing beer to other outlets in the state.
