Dr Nitin Shankar Nagrale is working with M/s Quality New Zealand as CEO India and Emerging Markets since February 2020. A unique business model owned by some world class cricketers of New Zealand like Sir Richard Hadlee, Stephen Fleming, Brandon McCullum, Daniel Vettori and Geoff Allot.
He brings with him a rich experience of over 26 years during which he has been actively involved in managing procurement and supply chain procedures for key hotels like Taj Mahal Palace & Towers, Taj Land’s End (The Regent Mumbai), Grand Hyatt Mumbai, The Westin Mumbai Garden City, Sofitel Mumbai BKC and upcoming The Chedi Mumbai (formerly Radisson Blu Plaza Mumbai) as Director Materials. In his last assignment he worked with Food link Services India Private Limited as Vice President Materials and Projects for over 3 years.
He is the First Person in the World to have completed the CERTIFIED HOTEL PURCHASE MANAGER Certification Course from American Hotel and Lodging Education Institute (AHLEI).
In 2010 Nitin founded a forum for hospitality procurement professionals named Hospitality Purchasing Managers’ Forum. HPMF is first of its kind initiative in India which aims to provide a platform for confluence of buyers from hotels, restaurants, catering, airline industry and manufacturers and traders catering to hospitality industry. Today HPMF has over 4000 members across India, Sri Lanka, Middle East, and Nepal.
Last year he was also appointed as National President - Policy Development and Research Cell by Human Rights & Social Justice Committee, New Delhi.
In October 2019 he was bestowed with Honorary Doctorate in Supply Chain Management by National American University at Embassy of Russian Federation (RCSC), New Delhi.
