Prof. Ganesh Bagler is the pioneer of ‘Computational Gastronomy,’ the emerging data science that blends food with artificial intelligence to seek ‘Data-driven Food Innovations.’ His lab has built data repositories of recipes from across the world cuisines, flavor molecules in natural ingredients and their health associations.

He is well-known for his research on culinary fingerprints of world cuisines, their food pairing patterns, benevolent health effects of herbs and spices, and for BitterSweet taste prediction algorithms. He is actively engaged in the Computational Gastronomy research with an audacious vision of transforming the food landscape through data-driven innovations.
