An entrepreneur for the last 10 years, having risen the ranks, CEO, TGIF (India), Rohan Jetley’s vision for the brand in the country is ambitious and not limited to the 'number of outlets' alone. He has taken several bold initiatives which have made Fridays more responsive to the environment that it exists in.
A Harvard alumnus, Jetley gained his early experience with international organisations, namely, The Armani Exchange, New York; London Chamber Of Commerce and Industry, London; Le Meridien, New York and Merrill Lynch, Hawaii, specialising in the areas of research, sales, audit and consumer & brands. All of this experience helps him today as he manages a multi-functional role at Fridays. Jetley also successfully completed the Owners/Presidents Management (OPM) program at Harvard Business School in February, 2013.
He began his career with TGI Fridays as a Summer Intern at its international outlets and gradually, worked his way up, bagging experience in various departments including kitchen (from cooking to inventory management); Behind the bar (served as an assistant to some great Bartenders), the floors and eventually, the corporate office. It was only in 2006 that he came on board Bistro as a full scale employee and is today, the CEO of the company.
