Food apps with IPl offers

And to celebrate the IPL fever with great offers, food-tech apps have also come up with exciting offers at their end. On one end TinyOwl has partnered with Mumbai Indians as the official food ordering app for the home team, TinyOwl is all set to rally with Mumbai Indian fans for an exciting season.

"Mumbai is as much a home ground for us as it is for millions of cricket fans in the city. With this association, we are looking forward to joining the IPL revelry, connect with our food loving fans and get them to know us better,” said Harshvardhan Mandad, CEO & Co-founder, TinyOwl.

As a part of this association, TinyOwl will have an experience zone at the stadium during the Mumbai Indian matches. At the same time, The Faaso’s CSK Tie up is quite simple a local activation to reach out to all the Chennai residents and make them aware of the Faaso’s Mobile App and the proposition of Food on Demand. Previously, the brand has also tied up with PW and MI in 2013 and 2014 respectively, where they have reached out to the 30-50K people that come to watch the match.

For this year, for every match happening in Chennai, Faaso’s has an activity whereby any person who downloads the App and orders on it at the stadium can get the food delivered to him/her. The food aap has a counter at the stadium so that they can service these orders.

“We are also doing a Twitter and FB activiation for this so people going to see the match can plan beforehand for the same,” shared Revant Bhate, VP, Fasso’s.

Thus, we can sense that in today’s scenario, IPL has become more than the cricket affaire, rather it has captured a great business in food industry making it all together an eating-out affaire.
