Mr.Rajeev Bakshi

Rajeev Bakshi is the Managing Director at Metro Cash & Carry.

He graduated in Economics from St. Stephen�s College, New Delhi, in 1976 and in 1979 obtained a Post Graduate Diploma in Management (M.B.A.) from the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore.

Rajeev started his career in Sales with Lakme India and worked in various positions and later became Head of the combined Sales and Marketing Function from 1989 to 1992. He then joined Cadbury Scheweepes where he was deputed to South Africa in 2001 as Managing Director for their entire business. His next platform was Pepsico International, where he was required to move to Hong Kong in 2007 to function as Senior Vice President-Commercial-Asia Pacific. Later, in 2008, he joined ICICI Venture Funds Management Company Limited as Joint Managing Director, strengthening the company�s presence in winning and managing large buyout deals.

Rajeev has also held a number of senior positions in the National Councils of Industry bodies such as CII and FICCI.
