Mr. Prosenjit Roy Choudhury

Mr. Prosenjit Roy Choudhury started his career with Sayaji Hotels as a Management Trainee in 1995. He worked in different sub verticals within F&B and moved up as head F&B eventually in 1999. He was instrumental in opening new F&B outlets, during his tenure as F&B head four new outlets rolled out within the hotel. �Kebabs ville� a pool side Barbeque, �Quorum� a wine and Cigar lounge, �Sanchi� a dumpukht specialty rest and �Critical Mass� a high octane night club. He took over as the General Manager of the hotel in 2003 and eventually moved on to start Barbeque Nation in Mumbai in 2006.
Barbeque Nation started with their first outlet in Mumbai at Pali hills and till now has successfully rolled out 24 active stores across 13 cities, with an annual turn- over of 148 cr (19 stores) last fiscal year. This year he plans to roll out 24 more stores in seven select cities, out of which, 5 have already rolled out. On a run-on basis, the expected turnover would be around 275 cr for this fiscal year.
