Dr. A Madhavan currently works with the Enforcement division of Food Safety and Standards Authority of India, New Delhi, in the capacity of Asst Director.

Dr. Madhavan is B.Sc. (Chemistry), Calicut University, Kerala; M.Sc. (Analytical Chemistry), University of Delhi; Ph.D. (Chemistry), Meerut University, Meerut; and M.B.A. (H.R.), Annamalai University, Tamil Nadu.

He has worked with Directorate of Vanaspati, Vegetable Oils & Fats, Department of Food & Public Distribution, Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution, Govt. of India in various levels for about 25 years.
